Urvashi Patole Sane

Urvashi Patole Sane is a pioneering force in women’s motorcycling in India and around the world. She is a co-founder of The Bikerni, India’s first all-women motorcycle association, which has grown into one of the largest and most influential communities of female motorcyclists in the country.

Passionate about empowerment through two wheels, Urvashi has dedicated over a decade to breaking stereotypes, building community, and opening up new horizons for women in adventure riding. Her work has been recognized globally, including features in BBC World, CNN, and TEDx, where she has spoken about the transformational power of motorcycles in women’s lives.

A skilled rider and cultural connector, Urvashi has led expeditions across some of the world’s toughest terrain—from the Himalayas to Bhutan—and regularly collaborates with international advocacy groups to promote diversity, safety, and sisterhood in motorsports.

As a core team member of the Mary McGee Global Memorial Ride, Urvashi brings her signature passion, vision, and global perspective to honoring the legacy of one of motorcycling’s great trailblazers. Through her leadership, storytelling, and tireless energy, she continues to inspire women to own their space on the road—and in the world.
