The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame - Sturgis, South Dakota

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame will be the first official stop on Ruth Belcher’s coast-to-coast Ride for Mary tribute tour. Ruth will honor her late friend and mentor, Mary McGee, with a special presentation and screening of the new film Motorcycle Mary.

Attendees will also have the chance to join Ruth for a meet and greet from (3:00-5:00 pm), where she’ll share stories from the road and connect personally with fellow riders honoring Mary’s legacy.

Join us in Sturgis to celebrate Mary McGee—a true pioneer—and to hear Ruth’s message of courage, perseverance, and community on two wheels.

Ride4Mary Regional Gathering at VCHSS Coyote Run

Ride4Mary teammates Amanda Knapp and Jessica Riddle have proudly partnered with the Virginia Championship Harescramble Series (VCHSS) to host a regional gathering in honor of the fearless legacy of Mary McGee.

This gathering is open to all—racers, spectators, and anyone who simply wants to join in celebrating Mary’s trailblazing spirit.

Attendees can pick up a free Ride4Mary sticker, learn more about Mary McGee and upcoming events, connect with others to share inspiring stories, take part in a group photo, and enjoy a screening of Motorcycle Mary.

Wailin Wayne Weekend - Adventure Motorcycle Rally – Nelsonville, Ohio

The Ride for Mary tour rolls into Waylen Wayne Weekend in Nelsonville, Ohio! Ruth Belcher will take the stage from 8:30-9:30pm to honor her mentor and friend, Mary McGee, one of the most iconic women in motorcycling history.

During this stop, Ruth and Ride4Mary Teammate, Amanda Knapp, will introduce the film Motorcycle Mary and co-lead a heartfelt talk about Mary’s groundbreaking career and lasting influence on riders everywhere.

Afterward, attendees are invited to a meet and greet with Ruth and Amanda, where riders can connect, share their own Mary-inspired stories, and be part of this powerful tribute.

AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame – Pickerington, Ohio

The American Motorcyclist Association Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio, will host Ruth Belcher on her cross-country tribute ride for Mary McGee. Ride4Mary team members, Amanda Knapp and Maggie McNally, both whom have been featured on the cover of the American Motorcyclist Magazine, will also be in attendance as invited speakers for a panel discussion.

Mary was inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame in 2018, recognized for her groundbreaking achievements as the first woman to race motorcycles in the AMA road racing series and her legendary career in motocross and Baja racing. Ruth, who stood proudly by Mary’s side during that induction, will now return to the Hall of Fame to share the new Motorcycle Mary film, along with her personal reflections on their friendship and the significance of this tribute ride.

A meet and greet with Ruth, Amanda and Maggie will follow, offering guests the opportunity to connect directly and celebrate Mary’s extraordinary contributions to motorcycling.

WIMA ‑ International Rally (75th Anniversary) - Portland, Maine

The Ride for Mary tribute ride will conclude at the WIMA-USA 75th International Rally in Poland, Maine, where riders from nearly 20 countries will gather for a week of celebration, camaraderie, and remembrance.

This is the 75th anniversary of the founding of WIMA - Women’s International Motorcycle Association which was founded in 1950 by American Louise Scherbyn. The organization hosts one international rally each.

Ruth Belcher, WIMA-USA Regional Representative (West), will present Motorcycle Mary and speak about her coast-to-coast ride in honor of her friend and mentor, Mary McGee.

In addition to the film and presentation (1:00-1:45pm), Ruth and Ride4Mary team members, Michelle Lamphere, WIMA-USA, President, and Sarah Schilke will be hosting a meet and greet during the rally—an opportunity for attendees to connect personally, share their own Mary McGee stories, and take part in this global tribute to a true pioneer of motorcycling.

This closing event of the tribute ride is a powerful reminder that Mary McGee’s legacy is global—her courage and determination opened the road for all of us.
